Tim is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC), graduating from the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture in 2005.
The Northern College of Acupuncture is one of the foremost educational and research institutions for Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in the UK.
He runs his own private clinic, Tim Spauls Acupuncture in Chester, and has previously worked as part of an acupuncture service supporting couples undergoing IVF in the Hewitt Centre for Fertility at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
Tim is available for treatments at Formby clinic.
Biography
Since qualifying for practice Tim has worked alongside Pam Bescoby at the Hale Acupuncture Clinic.
He has also undergone postgraduate training on Scalp Acupuncture which is particularly effective for treating the symptoms of Parkinsons and MS, Electroacupuncture which is a useful adjunct for treating pain and Facial Rejuvination Acupuncture also known as 'the acupuncture face lift'. This is a safe and non-surgical way of treating wrinkles by increasing the flow of qi and blood to the face.
Recently Tim has undergone training with Phil McQueen in Musculoskeletal bodywork techniques. This is particularly effective for treating Neck, Shoulder and Lower back pain and also sciatica. It is also very effective for treating sports injuries or recurrent complaints.
